Star shows are performed in the star hall - the Sun slowly is going down, stars begin shining, a beautiful comet is floating into the cosmic darkness, lonely meteor is crossing the sky. Fantastic journeys in time and space, to near planets and far galaxies take place, a soft voice reveals the mysteries of the universe. . .

Now the star shows are more than 70 - popular, educational, for children, musical, including in English, German, French, Greek, Russian and Turkish languages. Their continuance is 35 - 45 min.

Information for visiting

Star shows:
- fixed - at 3 pm every day; at 11 am on Sunday
- for groups not less than 15 people - at 9.30 am, 11 am, 3 pm, 4.30 pm
- for foreign visitors - at 2 pm

Observations with telescope:
- of the Sun - every day
- of the night sky objects - every Wednesday night

The Planetarium is closed for visitors
as follows:
- From 1 Apr to 31 Oct - on Sunday afternoon
- From 1 Nov to 31 March - on Sunday
- On the official Bulgarian holidays

MUSICAL AND POETICAL STAR SHOWS

Space Music - compositions of electronic music with laser effects and thoughts of the world and the eternal mysteries of existence.

Star Discotheque - moments from the development of rock and pop music. The stars in the sky and the music stars are shown on a background of star and laser effects, color music and a lot of movement and special effects.

Orpheus’Story - a music and poetry show, a combination of science and art presenting inherited antiquity brought back to life.

Rorich’s Universe - the artistic,poetical and philosophical heritage of the Rorich family.

Live piano concerts, chorus of folklore concerts are often given in the Star Hall or the foyer.
